I developed an interest in photography as an elementary school student. As my interest evolved into an obsession, I traded my disposable camera in for my first 35mm camera as a Junior in High School. Choosing a college where I could major in photography and remain in a small town, I landed at Chester College of New England where I graduated with honors in 2007 as the Valedictorian. One year after graduation I moved to Ireland to attend the Burren College of Art as a Post-Baccalaureate student. Then in 2009, I moved from the quiet village of Ballyvaughan, Ireland to the busy city of Columbus, Ohio. I continued my academic journey as an MFA candidate at The Ohio State University. I Graduated in the Spring of 2011, I am now working as an Adjunct Instructor at the Columbus College of Art and Design, and as a Visiting Lecturer at The Ohio State University.
